Becoming a better morning person

by nicktekavic

Dearest Time Dorks,

Today I write with a wonderful “full circle” story.

Connor Swenson, who leads Make Time at Work, has always wanted to become a morning person. A longtime Time Dork, he read my post in 2015 and gave it a shot.

But… it didn’t work. For Connor, early mornings led to coffee, which led to more coffee, which led to that weird zombie-like sensation of being over caffeinated yet still… tired?

Fast forward to 2022. An older, wiser (yet still youthful!) Connor revisited his goal of becoming a morning person. Armed with a new insight about the power of sunlight, he customized Make Time Tactic #14 to better fit his body and way of life.

I’m excited to share Connor’s story with you all! Not just because of the full circle, but because it’s a good reminder about the power of personalization in applying Make Time to your own life.

Until next time,

— JZ
